It Happened in Hollywood (1937) - Fuller’s second film. Richard Dix stars as a restful Western star who is set out of work by the coming of talking pictures, since in the early days the technology can’t be taken outdoors. He loses his career, his ranch, everything. After his plunge he encounters a microscopic boy who tranquil adores him.

Adventure in Sahara (1938) -Much like Mutiny on the Bounty except it is status in the desert.

Power of the Press (1943) - From 1925-1935 Hollywood had made many anti-war films. This is one of those films that tried to reverse that trend with a sage about the dangers of isolationism.

Shockproof (1949, directed by Douglas Sirk) - About a parole officer in appreciate with a parolee. This is against the rules of his profession, so the parole officer fixes it so the parolee can work in his home tending to his mother. However, the parolee impartial may be using him and may collected be in esteem with her gangster ex-boyfriend. Don’t blame Sam for the ending. The studio rewrote it.

Scandal Sheet (1952) - Newspaper reporters investigate the death of a woman and choose not only that it was execute but who the murderer is, which turns out to be quite intelligent.

The Crimson Kimono (1959) - A stripper is shot in the streets of L.A. and it’s up to Glenn Corbett and James Shigeta as two cops to choose the killer. The whole investigation enables a epic that only Fuller could disclose about interracial treasure along with the cast of outlandish people that often gain Fuller’s stories.

Underworld U.S.A. (1961) - A teenager sees her father killed by four gangsters. Twenty years later the crime remains unsolved by the police and the gangsters have risen to the top of the underworld. The daughter, now a grown woman, sets out for revenge. Both written and directed by Fuller.

There is yet no word on extra features.

This is an titillating collection that really shows Fuller on a hasten during his career. The early films really don’t resemble the work of Fuller as we know it from about 1950 forward, but the first two films were made when Fuller had less creative control over his work, so you have to devour what he does with material he is handed in his early years. There is an outstanding documentary - “The Men Who Made the Movies - Sam Fuller” - that really shows what made the director tick in his acquire words, but I don’t fill that Sony has the rights to that one so I doubt it will be available here. If you gain a chance, though, view that first before you derive into these films.

I’m not here to discuss film command, which is probably noble. I am here to discuss the difficult packaging which plagues this residence. Not only are the DVDs stacked on top of each other in twos, but the lower discs have edges that are positioned BELOW the spindles!

I had major pains sliding the four lower DVDs out without breaking them (I did crack the outer packaging twice) . I should have pushed down on the lower release button BEFORE attempting to travel the discs from underneath the spindles. I’m neither adroit nor mechanically minded, so the packaging was a challenge to me. Others will probably have less danger than I experienced, as long as they are careful.

I unruffled abominate this packaging, and would rather have slim cases in a wraparound. That would avoid the potential for breakage that I described above.

The film transfers glimpse quite righteous for the most allotment.

The understanding slow this film is that in a successful relationship you have to plunge in admire over and over again. In this myth it happens literally everyday.

The performances:

Adam Sandler as Henry Roth shows his vulnerable side in his best and most natural performance.

Drew Barrymore as Lucy Whitmore has never been better, and has spacious chemistry with Adam. She emerges as a handsome actor.

Rob Schneider as Ula may fool you that he is really the character he is playing, I didn’t know it was him for half the travel! He is brilliantly silly.

Sean Astin as Doug Whitmore (better known as Sam from the Lord of the Rings) is laughable in this laughable role as Lucy’s lisping brother.

Pomaika’i Brown as Slice (tattoo face) the cook, is grand in his slight role and deserves bigger roles in the future.

Shot in Hawaii, it has delicate cinematography and vibrant color. The movie is a combination of humor and romance with more heart than you might seek information from.

You know those movies where you eye the trailer in the theater and then when you perceive the valid movie you recognize all the first-rate parts were in the trailer? Well, “50 First Dates” is not one of those movies. In fact, I can execute the argument that while the trailer may indeed have most of the funniest moments in this film, it most decidedly does not have any of the best moments of the film. When you behold the trailer about this movie in which Adam Sandler has to originate a first impression on Drew Barrymore every day because she has no short term memory and wakes up every morning forgetting what happened the previous day, you would contemplate that he discovers this the next morning when she wakes up in bed with a stranger and starts screaming. However, I am cheerful to picture, “50 First Dates” is not that movie either.

I have been trying to judge of last time a movie prompted tears in my eyes as often as “50 First Dates.” We know that Lucy Whitmore (Barrymore) no longer has any short term memory because of a car accident, but what we learn before we meet Lucy is that Henry Roth (Sandler) is apparently the king of the treasure ‘em and leave ‘em of the Hawaiian islands. Thus the enormous irony is that he falls for the one woman who can forget him faster and more completely than any tourist he has ever dumped. What we also learn about are the amazing lengths to which Lucy’s family and friends go produce each day the same contented day for her. Lucy’s brother Doug (Sean Astin) needs to lay off the steroids but her father (Blake Clark) is fiercely and lovingly protective of his daughter. Watching everything that he and his son do each night to reset the stage for Lucy’s ecstatic day got me stout time.

Unlike “Groundhog Day,” which only had a few minor flaws in logic (e.g., why does the music teacher claim Bill Murray as a student at the raze? ) there are giant holes in “50 First Dates” (e.g., how do the three guys manage to every day free to steal care of Lucy? ), but I do not care. The gaps are covered in honest too many sweet and touching moments for me to object to George Wing’s screenplay. The reason why I did not give “50 First Dates” is mainly because of the character of Ula (Choose Schneider), who represents the extinct “Adam Sandler” type of comedy in this film. There are a few moments where Sandler goes over the top (basically anytime his jabber gets to the yelling level), but I could forgive most of those (the last song he sings redeems distinguished), but every time Ula showed up it was like clips from another movie. The last time he shows up in the film I was really not pleased to ogle him there because he was ruining a moment I had been eagerly awaiting.

One of the impressive things about this movie is that it does not cop out. Dr. Keats (Dan Aykroyd), Lucy’s doctor, tells us repeatedly that Lucy is never going to obtain better and a lot of the power of this movie comes from the different ways in which Lucy and Howard deal with this hard reality. We also learn that for Lucy and his family there are what her dad calls “unpleasant” days, and it because of them that Henry is inspired to try something different and provide another series of sweet moments in the film. As long as he refrains from going into overdrive, Sandler makes it totally believable that Henry would utilize every day trying to procure Lucy to drop in adore with him. But it is Barrymore who is pitch perfect on both the comedy and the pathos of her role as Lucy. If Sandler did not know that he had found his perfect leading lady after “The Wedding Singer,” then this film should do the trick.

The tagline for this film is “Imagine having to net over the girl of your dreams… every friggin’ day” is a comical line, but it is as worthy misdirection as the trailer. Henry may treat his uncommon assistant Alexa (Lusia Strus) badly, but he could not possibly be more patient with Lucy. Even her skeptical father has to admit that he and Henry are kindred spirits. Because this is Adam Sandler we sustain waiting for him to try and assume advantage of the location, but, to order myself, this is not that film. Yes, “Groundhog Day” is the better movie, but “50 First Dates” is also tubby of grace and more importantly the film finds of contrivance of delivering on its promise. First kisses might be the sweetest of all, but in this film it is the last date that makes you surrender on the off chance you manage to occupy off that long.

This one is a sincere puzzler, and I was caught off-guard at the demolish. It’s surprisingly suited for a crude budget dismay film, going for the brain rather than the jugular.

The film is a horror/psychological thriller. Richard Boone plays a man who is piece of a trustee group. Fraction of the duties of the members is to pick turns overseeing a private cemetery.

Boone finds a diagram in the cemetery office that shows the occupied and unoccupied plots marked with white or murky pins.

Boone discovers that when he places a dark pin in a residence that is unoccupied, the owner dies. Is Boone going enraged, or does he really have the power to bury the living?

This is an sharp film, very creative and stylized. Boone often said it was his personal approved, and he was proud to have worked on the film.

Bob Kraft (Richard Boone) believes there is a foul relationship between a string of fresh deaths and unlit pins in a plot of cemetery plots. This movie is an challenging blend of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock. Kraft, the innocent man caught in what appears to be a supernatural conundrum, suffers the torments of the damned. Each murky pin he sticks in the arrangement causes another person to die, or so he thinks. Boone is effective as a bewildered victim, caught in a web of mystery, a dissimilarity to his tough guy roles. Pick special seek of the substantial plot on the wall of the caretaker’s cottage. It is the calm monster of our myth. White pins mean that the set is sold, but not yet occupied. Shadowy pins mean that the dear departed has, well, departed. Switching the pins before death appears to race the process. Hence, the mystery. The roads of the intention twist, turn, and curve until they resemble a disjointed human face that sneers at the cramped man. Kraft alerts the police that he is responsible for the original deaths, but the cops are skeptical. The deceased people expired from natural causes. Classic TV fans will gawk Herbert Anderson (Henry Mitchell of “Dennis the Menace”) as an owlish reporter. This limited thriller is a classic panic gem. The presentation is outrageous budget, but the result is apt. Ownership is a obvious must. ;-)

This is my all-time approved of the Disney spicy classics; I have seen it countless times, and bask in it as grand as the first time I saw it, blueprint befriend when I was 7 years passe. It is a Halloween fixture for me collected, although I explore it all year ’round. Bing Crosby had a incredible speaking enlighten, as well as a singing one, and he does broad things with the character of Ichabod and his tuneful telling of this timeless chronicle, dwelling in Sleepy Hollow; I acquire that were Washington Irving alive today, he would adore this version of his terrific modern, based on ragged folk tales and legends of that portion of Fresh York. I also savor Toad; J. Thaddeus Toad, Esquire, the Master of Toad Hall, with his true friends, Mole, Angus McBadger and Ratty. I have never seen this common classic in such splendor before my DVD version arrived…the colors, the crisp characterize, the overall beauty of it took my breath away, and I was 7 years used again, watching it on the gigantic cloak. Now I can examine it anytime, and have the same quality as I enjoyed as a child, what a treat! Even if you have a VHS copy, assume the DVD, you won’t occupy the inequity!

Disney’s THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD is one of the best Halloween DVDs available, especially if you are looking for something to entertain–and spook!–the entire family.

There are actually two stories on this film, the first segment being a “telling” of Kenneth Grahame’s THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS. The animation is well done–as are most Disney cartoons from this era (c. 1949) –and the narration by Basil Rathbone is wonderfully literate. Assert characterizations are done by other actors, however, which detracts from the film’s premise that the fable is being “told” by the conventional Mr. Rathbone. While this segment is certainly inspiring enough, it is NOT the highlight of the DVD. That honor goes to the other segment….

The remainder of the film is a “telling” of Washington Irving’s THE Chronicle OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, and it is sheer delight. This classic American ghost yarn is narrated by Bing Crosby, who also sings all of the songs and voices nearly all of the characterizations. The script is very dependable to the source material, even including–though a exiguous less subtly than Mr. Irving–the same wry sense of humor. The depiction of the Headless Hessian himself is really spooky, too, though aloof gentle enough so as not to panic the limited ones too remarkable. Lots of fun for frail and young alike, this, and a spacious film for the family to peer on Halloween night!

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad! Click Here

Also included on the DVD is the classic Disney captivating short LONESOME GHOSTS. This one has Mickey, Donald, and Goofy working as ghost exterminators, and one could easily gain the argument that it was the inspiration for 1984’s live-action GHOSTBUSTERS. (Indeed, one of our arresting heroes even utters the line “I ain’t shy of no ghosts!”) A dependable hoot, and another astronomical film to include in the family’s Halloween celebration.

If you’re already a fan of the tantalizing THE Anecdote OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, you’ll definitely want to include this DVD in your collection. The colors are grand richer than on the VHS release, and the details are understandably crisper. You’ll perceive Ichabod, Bram Bones, that itsy-bitsy coquette Katrina, and the wrong Headless Horseman like you’ve never seen ‘em before!

The deadly T-virus has now escaped the Umbrella Corporation’s rigorously controlled environment and infected the world. There are few who can remain alive in such a hostile atmosphere where nature has reclaimed her contain and flesh hungry zombies gape the warm life blood of the living. Earth is desolate. The entire planet shown from afar is now visible as a barren Necropolis of broken dreams, empty lives, and the fruitless pursuit of existence. It’s over. . . or is it? Operation Alice is support, bigger and better than before. The fight for earth has begun . . .

Continuing the ever growing Resident Contemptible franchise, the latest installment in this seemingly endless movie series has actually managed to redeem worthy of the wound done in prior movies. While this is peaceful not a “thinking man’s” film by any means, the numerous action sequences, though-provoking special effects, and great scenes of zombie carnage combined to earn an spellbinding and exquisite film. Perhaps there is hope for the Resident Infamous venture after all.

The yarn continues the very lose location line established in earlier movies, that is, Alice runs around in skimpy clothes, as before, and engages in random acts of violence while taking herself very seriously. Meanwhile, the ever devious yet massively inefficient Umbrella Corporation tracks her, thinking to acquire on a monster that they have created, yet have proved time and again that they cannot control. So remarkable for the whole opinion of hindsight. But, if you have already seen the first two Resident Rotten movies and are smooth coming aid, then you already know all this. Let’s face it, the movies are fair lifeless, but they are fun if you can establish aside your thinking cap and indulge in a Friday night flick with friends. And besides, there is one novel theme that has emerged in Resident Evil: Extinction that is actually quite consuming in a macabre sort of method, the entire destruction of the world. While Resident Irascible has never minded killing off great populations for the pleasure of a disturbingly blood thirsty public, no one ever quite anticipated that they were ready to eradicate the world. Yes, it’s been done before, but for some unusual reason, this same stale belief has a uniquely revolting attraction. The recent theme works. Freud might have some enchanting theories as to why, but let’s face it - - - no one really cares, we honest want to be entertained.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Resident Evil: Extinction! Click Here

Now, what about the characters? I, for a lack of anything better to do (thus are the trials of being nineteen) have unfortunately watched both of the unique Resident Infamous movies more than once and, despite this, mild haven’t a clue as to what the character’s personality’s are really like. Apparently, Resident Evil: Extinction decided not to remedy this quandary. We calm don’t care about these people. As far as we are concerned, they are impartial future zombie bait or, as I consume to say, zombie chow on parade. But wait! What about the elusive Alice? Yes, she is peaceful “chilly” with her no nonsense mannerisms, astounding and totally unrealistic fighting maneuvers, and her ultra sexy clothes but let’s face it, she’s honest not a talker. Does anyone remember her ever saying more than three words? I rest my case. Resident Dismal and characterization are not synonymous and they probably never will be. As I said, this is not a thinking man’s movie.

So, now that my poison pen is warmed up, I sadly must switch gears and disappear onwards, leaving my savory cynicism tedious and explaining the salubrious qualities of this movie to any of you out there who were glum enough to land on my review (laughs maniacally.) Resident Bad is mainly known for its concentration of high drama, edge of the seat tension, unpredictability, and special effects and in all these areas it delivers marvelously. The action presented in this movie far surpasses the first two films keeping the viewer twisted to the shroud and diverting their attention from the valid lack of a deep set. The action is non-stop and for the most fragment realistically depicted. The special effects have improved over the years and the directors were not panicked to capitalize on this especially since if all these scenes of carnage and mayhem were removed the movie could be recapped in less than three sentences. The combination of fright and action that is unusual to the video game to movies franchise that is booming of unhurried is presented most effectively in this film creating a very tense atmosphere and resulting in many unexpected deaths, mutilations, and zombiefications.

The conclusion was both oddly disappointing and strangely satisfying at the same time although it was obviously the prelude to yet another sequel (what ever happened to succinctness? ) While Alice’s final battle with an unnamed but many clawed creature was abrupt and vastly disappointing especially considering that half the movie had been building up to this vast battle, the “surprise conclusion” that was presented afterwards was most new and quite enchanting thus redeeming the entire conclusion.

Ending Thoughts: The expert manipulation of effects and the inclusion of hordes of flesh hungry zombies and heart stopping action packed scenes will of course appeal to any cynical teenage audience; however, an older crowed will probably collect it most banal. If you are more into the thinking man’s type of film, then this is not for you. If you are looking for a meaningless yet fun film, then Resident Evil: Extinction is definitely worth seeing.

- Ravenova

Considering the Resident Heinous movie universe, this third entry into the series is probably on par with the first movie, if not better. I know many people aren’t fans of this series, but I do come by a kick out of them. I opinion the second one was a bit of a disappointment, but the series came succor with Extinction. Alice is succor, along with a couple of characters from Apocalypse. Humanity is on the brink of extinction now as the virus continues to grow and grow. As has been mentioned in other reviews, this is not exactly a unusual rob, but where else would they go with it? If you like the Resident Sinful movies, definitely check this one out. If you didn’t like the first one, you should probably steer positive.

Deftly directed by Roger Donaldson and beautifully acted, this is a well nuanced film. Based upon a factual sage and adapted from the book, “Captain Bligh and Mr. Christian”, by Richard Hough, the film relates the series of events that brought about the eventual mutiny of the English vessel, The Bounty, by its crew. The mutiny was led by Fletcher Christian, the Master’s Mate, and friend of Lt. William Bligh, Captain of the ship. The film opens with the trial of Captain Bligh (Anthony Hopkins) before the Admiralty Board, where he is questioned by Captain Greetham (Edward Fox) and Admiral Hood (Laurence Olivier) . Captain Bligh then relates his myth of why it was that he lost a ship under his deny.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Bounty! Click Here

The star-crossed voyage of “The Bounty” started innocuously enough. Captain William Bligh (Anthony Hopkins) convinced his friend, Fletcher Christian (Mel Gibson), to state cruise with him as Master’s Mate to Ship Master John Fryer (Daniel Day Lewis) . “The Bounty” was commissioned to state wing for Tahiti in order to acquire breadfruit plants for transport to Jamaica. In order to assign time, the Captain would navigate a tiny outmoded route around the horn of Africa to set time. It was to be a voyage to remember.

During the voyage, the viewer sees the tension gain amongst the crew, as well as amongst the officers. The innate savagery and baseness of some of the seamen is personified by Charles Churchill (Liam Neeson), a seaman who needs cramped provocation. The disdain of the officers for the crew is best exemplified by John Fryer, the ship’s Master, who seems to appreciate the cruelty of the punishments meted out to those crewmen found guilty of infractions. Tension then spills over between the crew and officers, as the rigors of the voyage eats away at morale. By the time the ship reaches Tahiti, the die is cast. Months on the comely island creates a fallacious reality and an indolence that sets the stage for what is to reach. Fletcher’s erotic romance with a Tahitian princess further erodes discipline and strains the friendship between Bligh and Christian. By the time they finally shove off and spot glide succor to England with the breadfruit plants that they had sought, the destroy is reach.

Mel Gibson does a excellent job with the role of Fletcher Christian. The viewer first sees him as an ambitious, yet suited young man, who, having weathered the rigors and cruelties of the voyage, finds romance and peace on the idyllic island of Tahiti. Setting hover to return home and once again encountering the rigors and reality of a sea voyage, Christian seems to be a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown. With morale improper among the crew, he makes a life defining decision. The rest is history.

Anthony Hopkins is simply intellectual in the role of William Bligh. Playing him as a hard working, by the book captain, he creates a three dimensional character that is sympathetic. Betrayed by friendship and beset by the fates, Bligh manages to pull together and achieve those men who were cast adrift in a dinghy with him. Masterful and mindful of his professional obligations, he makes an astonishing voyage, believable because of the qualities of character infused in him by Hopkins’ portrayal. The viewer senses, however, that he will forever be at a loss to comprehend Christian’s actions.

This is a visually resplendent film, with stunningly lush island scenes. There is an recent musical acquire by Vangelis that is wonderfully atmospheric. The performances by the cast are superlative. What more could a film lover ask for? Bravo!

I’ve seen both the Brando and the Gibson versions, and I feel the latter is far, far superior–as a myth that holds together, that has a focal point, and that is entirely believable.

The suspense is high on two levels–1. when will Christian and the seamen become so furious that they will flout Hopkins’ order and mutiny, and 2. what will be the final judgement on Hopkins in the trial being conducted on whether or not he was responsible for the mutiny. As the legend develops, the suspense keeps intensifying and escalating.

I deem Hopkins and Gibson played their parts mighty better than did Howard and Brando. Hopkins expressed many levels of the Bligh character, showing the inner conflict that gripped him–i.e., trying to be stunning and human to the seamen and yet needing to utilize stern discipline to enable the ship to effect its purpose. His acting was absolutely great, showing how he was being torn apart while at the same time trying to occupy his sanity. However, in the Howard version, all we inspect is a viciously sadistic personality–one note–without remarkable depth or dimension. Gibson’s performance was also suitable as his tension and inflame gradually create to a breaking point, but even here he refrained from exerting the violence that he could have. You can’t befriend but sympathize with him.

There are many touching moments in the legend that form this a most memorable film. I was never bored or uninterested for even a moment–the suspense and drama objective kept building and developing as I eagerly wondered how the memoir would finally extinguish.

Well worth buying and seeing more than once.

I had caught snippets of Chappelle’s Reveal here and there before, but I had never made a point of actually sitting down and watching a complete episode. Then a friend of mine told me about a hilarious skit featuring Dave Chappelle as a sunless white supremacist (he is blind and doesn’t know he is actually a shadowy man) ; if it was only half as humorous as she said it was, I knew I had to peep it for myself, so I soon bought myself a copy of Chappelle’s Prove Season One. Not only is the skit in interrogate hilarious, it basically defines the type of humor Dave Chappelle brings to the comedy scene. I don’t contemplate the television viewing audience has ever seen anything like this before - certainly not to the extremes that Dave Chappelle takes it. When he jokes about the fact the exhibit has not been cancelled yet, it actually rings with a bit of truth. Very few comedians could catch away with this type of over-the-top humor.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Chappelle’s Show - Season 1! Click Here

To say that this is traditional humor is something of an understatement. Adult language abounds, and all the bleeps you heard on television are now removed - thus, the Uncensored! tagline. You’ll gather a lot of jokes centered on human anatomy - especially female anatomy. Far beyond everything else, though, is a relentless comedic skewering of racism. Some would probably judge this a racist expose, actually - the “n word” is traditional in abundance, and stereotypes of blacks, Asians, whites, and other races are exploited shamelessly. The whole point of the race-based comedy, though, is to present unprejudiced how improper and ridiculous racist thinking and behavior really is. Some people won’t “find it,” of course, and they will probably reflect Chappelle’s Expose is one of the most offensive things they have ever witnessed - and that’s OK. The majority of viewers, I have, will “glean it” and will join me in an extended laugh-fest that lasts throughout all twelve episodes of Season One as well as the bonus materials included in this DVD offering.

Among the gut-bustingly droll stuff you will salvage in Chappelle’s Exhibit Season One are the antics of crack addict Tyrone Biggums (including a visit to a drug awareness day at an elementary school), Chappelle-ized scenes from hit films such as Roots and The Matrix, a news narrate detailing the profound aftereffects brought about by the paying of reparations for slavery, “Tremendous Moments in Hookup History,” a “Precise World” episode featuring one really white guy living with five crazy African-Americans, a hard-hitting documentary detailing the racism of illustrious animal performers, a documentary covering colossal inner city gang wars of the 1980s, an interracial episode of Trading Spouses, numerous Chappelle-ized television ads, Ask a Unlit Dude features with comedian Paul Mooney, a hilarious inspect at the international Player Hater Ball, and of course a lot of vulgar jokes about drugs and bodily functions. The only unpleasant thing about these episodes is the fact that they are sometimes rather short. Chappelle featured rap and hip-hop musical guests on each exhibit, but those segments are not included on nine of the twelve episodes you regain here (and it’s only a half-hour demonstrate to initiate with) .

Buy,Download, Or Stream Chappelle’s Show - Season 1! Click Here

The comedy is a miniature uneven at times. A few skits never really fetch fire and are thus forgettable, but the colossal majority of the material here will have you rolling in the aisles. Even the kind of toilet humor that normally isn’t that droll will have you in stitches because Chappelle unprejudiced keeps going to the well so many times that he makes it amusing despite itself.

Five of the episodes reach with audio commentary by Dave Chappelle and the show’s co-creator Neal Brennan (who is white, by the blueprint), as does the extra 29-minute feature of bloopers and deleted scenes. I was actually a itsy-bitsy disappointed by the audio commentary; it was informational but not as comic as I had expected. The bloopers and deleted scenes were also less than hilarious - but I realized long ago (thanks to Dick Clarke and Ed McMahon) that bloopers really aren’t very humorous grand of the time. All these extras are unbiased icing on the cake, though, as the twelve episodes of the prove more than manufacture this Season One collection worth the money. Heck, it’s worth it for honest the blind, shadowy white supremacist feature by itself.

Dave Chappelle is, undoubtedly, one of the most audacious and shimmering comedians working today. At first peek (or listen), his humor may seem offensive or like miniature more than toilet humor, but if you dig a exiguous deeper you’ll realize that Dave is simply saying the things so many Americans would Care For to say, but can’t.

Chappelle’s Point To is one of my celebrated shows on television. Dave’s sense of humor breaks the color boundries and he’s not panicked to attack anyone for a laugh. Whites, blacks, Asian…whoever you are, you’re a target, and that’s the beauty of it. By not singling out anyone, Dave has made a expose accessible enough for EVERYONE. Distinct, it’s controversial and yes, it can be grievous, but it’s also hilarious and only the most uptight of people who choose everything at face value could possibly be offended by it.

Dave tackles everything from racism to R. Kelly in the first season and it’s some of the most refreshing, shimmering television humor I’ve seen in years. His ability to sight inward and plod fun at himself, as well as everyone else, only makes it funnier. Nothing in the display should be taken too seriously. From it’s over-exaggerated racial stereotypes to it’s parodies, everything is done with a titanic deal of humor and, most importantly, intellect.

Chappelle’s Present is a lustrous section of television and kudos should be given to Comedy Central for bringing it out on DVD and, most importantly, giving Dave enough creative control over his present to say and do the things he does and keeping it on the air.

I’ve recently impartial seen a copy of Jason X. Before seeing the movie, I was absolutely pumped. I mean we haven’t seen a fresh “Friday” movie in nearly 10 years so this was really provocative for me. So how was it?

Buy,Download, Or Stream Jason X! Click Here

Well I am elated to say that while it does have its flaws, Jason X doesn’t disappoint.

The opening credits initiate off very creatively(for a Jason movie that is) where we win to eye inside Jason’s head and fetch to glimpse his brain and all. Elegant shipshape stuff, cause I never would of expected it in this movie. After the opening credits we launch off at some research dwelling where we bag our first stare of ole jason where he is all chained up on a harness.(how he got there is beyond me) Scientists are studying him to try to get out what he is all about. From there Jason gets loose and the first killings launch. After a few kills, Jason and a hot girl are cryogenically frozen together only to be unfrozen 100s of years later and then the actual carnage begins!!

Well, I can issue you that for a relatively grievous budget movie this baby looks delicate noble. The location designs and spot ship all contemplate top notch. You’ll be surprised you aren’t watching James Camerons Aliens or something-they’re that reliable.

As for the acting, well this is a Friday the 13th movie. So you cant question anything top notch. Its not bad, (actually its probably the best in a while) but its nothing special. The teens are basically unprejudiced as insensible as ever and you’ll know who’s gonna be killed. All they reflect about is sex, sex, and more sex. There are some very hot chicks in this movie, most notably, the lead female. Kane Hodder on the other hand is in lovely compose here. He does Jason better than anyone, and he impartial has this role down perfect. His sight is a small different than in the previous movies but he’s unruffled the same badmother he’s always been.Though you gottta wonder why his camouflage keeps changing from movie to movie. There is also an android character here that is surprisingly laughable and luscious to glimpse(especially when we ogle her kicking Jasons ass) and was greatly appreciated here. As for the script, well it contains some lovely abominable dialogue at times(as mentioned earlier, this is a Friday movie) but doesn’t accumulate out of hand too powerful. My approved line has to be “Its gonna acquire more than that to bring this stale dog down……yeah, that outta do it.” This comes from the tough sergeant dude and is radiant silly.

Now, you’re probably wondering about the gore. Is there alot? Or does it disappoint? Well i’d say its easily one of the more evil entries in a while. We find some creative killings here, my celebrated being when Jason forces a girls head into some kind of frozen liquid where her head freezes completely and then Jason smashes her head against a counter top. Frigid stuff. There’s also plenty of gun shots at Jason. In the waste, we find a handsome high body count here, probably one of the highest(if not highest) in the series. You won’t be disappointed here.

And then there’s the UBER Jason. I was mixed on this.On one hand its something recent for the series, which is top-notch because its basically been the same stale same conventional for all the movies. On the other hand it seems kinda plain seeing Jason all “high tech” looking. He basically looks like some kind of orderly robot. Ever gawk Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fraction 2? Remember Smart Shredder? Uber Jason kinda reminded me of him alot. And that’s not a gracious thing. Jason Voorhees should seek like Jason Voorhees. Nuff said.

But in the demolish, I came out of the movie extremely happy. Honest about all you could want in a Friday movie is here. I got all the Jason, blood and gore, and hot chicks I could ask for. Its Jason X baby, and you wont be disappointed.
BY RYAN

Quite simply, this is the most lustrous “slasher flick” since…well…probably ever. This tenth installment of the Friday the Thirteenth series culminates the best parts of the series and pokes fun at itself for the worst. The area is as deep as principal, but not insultingly shallow as dread movies typically are. The teens being stalked are not as mindless as the genre’s predecessors, and the stuntman-turned-actor Kane Hodder shows where his cult following comes from as Jason.
For those looking for unusual, creative death scenes, Jason X certainly delivers, with not one scene change leaving you wondering how Jason killed the last victim.
The writing doesn’t peril with such matters as “How is Jason wait on from Hell? ” or other trivial thoughts…he’s objective here, and he’s not very joyful about it.
From the fear fans, to the “I only explore at Halloween” buyers, Jason X is certainly deserving of ownership, because let’s be objective, we all remove pleasure in dread movies at one time or another, and this movie is objective fun. If it was worth looking up a review on, you have enough interest for this movie to all out entertain you; not to mention there are a healthy amount of bonus features actually worth watching, including a history of the character Jason, and a making of Jason X.

We objective admire the dragon tales cartoons. My three year former has learned so powerful about friendship from this series, and loves the music. The DVD itself is satisfactory. You can settle to play each episode once or play them all continuously. There is also and option to play the music segments which consist of four songs. Some of the songs are repeated from previous DVD’s, but my daughter doesn’t mind since they are so catchy.

Better than some of the previous dvd formats, and they aloof do not include a song between the chapters which would have been nice.

I must say i appreciate the manga series and if you want to know the truth read the MANGA INSTEAD the first series (26 episodes) was agreeable but the 2nd series was destoried. I was sunless to peek it a mammoth series ripped from it’s greatness. The ovas in japanese was volumesin the manga series is 21, 22, and 23 which is the reach the extinguish of the manga series. I watched the ovas all 3 of them in english subs. Clamp decided that the third series would be kill caused by the company in japan that killed the loyal seies, Clamp was not delighted with them so they canceled the 3rd series, dim but suitable. It hurts me to observe the 2nd series they made it for kids, they took everything that was titanic about the series and changed it to something that was no longer the series itself. So if you really want to survey the series go a head but be warn the english is not so superb either. I about wanted to scream to search for this series destoried.
